TROJAN TRUMP: I Would Have Voted for Trump if he had Done Anything to Bring Down the Deep State

Trump tax plan trumps the middle class

I have tried to be fair with Trump, taking down many of the big lies I have seen brought against him, but I hold him to the same standard of truth. His charges of fake news against the mainstream media could have changed things if he hadn’t told so many lies himself that he lost all moral high ground. If you’re going to accuse liars of lying, you can’t be one yourself.

Trump’s loudest of all lies to his own supporters has been that he will bring down the deep state (“drain the swamp”). Back in September, 2016, before Trump even became president, I wrote an article titled, “Trump: Trojan Horse for the Establishment or Mighty Mouth for Mankind?” in which I gave the following observations and warning:

I crave the opportunity to see an anti-establishment candidate win the election…. So, while I do not like Trump the man (as it would appear he has never done anything that didn’t entirely serve his own self-interest and pompous ego), I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing him upset establishment Republicans and establishment Democrats … because … both parties exist to serve the same rich people and themselves….

I’ll even acknowledge that perhaps it takes someone as brazen and blusterous as Trump … to stand up to such a powerful assemblage of egoists as we have embedded in congress ….

My desire to see the economy righted and the establishment overturned (peacefully), however, is exactly what makes me cautious about any gold-plated politician who has lived all of his life in the realm of the one percenters….

While I have never liked this particular publicity whore, I’d put up with his relentless boasting and forgive his audacious past if it takes that kind of brassy, risk-taking adventurer … to stand up to the intimidations of congress…. Unfortunately, I have seen often in life that bellicose people are usually nowhere near as brave as they sound….

Then I asked,

Is Donald Trump a Trojan horse? Is he as hollow as his mouth is big?… Trump knows he can tap into a huge vault of anger; and, as a media mogul himself, he knows better than anyone how to play the media for free publicity by being outrageous….

From Trump’s choice of a 180-proof neocon vice presidential candidate to an embedded Goldman-Sachs campaign financial manager to the Heritage Foundation’s dream team of budget advisors he assembled, Trump has selected people who wholly embody the establishment. Everything these people have ever done or said has been in support of the Wall Street one-percenters…. So, if you think Trump is any threat to the establishment, you may be riding a Trojan horse.

The article went on to describe just how pro-establishment and pro-Wall Street, pro-war and pro-military-industrial-complex (MIC) Trump’s assembled team was based on their histories. So, here we are full circle — end of his time in office — and I ask “Was Donald Trump a Trojan horse? Has Trump really done anything to take down the deep state or the MIC, which he personally put in charge of everything for four years?

You got Trumped!

Given how Trump was persecuted by the FBI, CIA and others due to Hillary Clinton’s fake Steele Dossier, Trump should have (and could have) declassified all relevant information four years ago. Instead, he chose not to lock up Hillary or anyone. Before he was even in office, after winning the election, he said on 60 Minutes Hillary had “suffered enough” because of her defeat and that “the Clintons are good people,” so he wouldn’t be going after them. Not until about two months before the recent election did he uncover some of her corruption and start down the path toward some vague form of prosecution.

One of many reasons I voted against Trump in this election was that he did nothing during his four years in office to take the corrupt parties who had worked against him to court. After priming his supporters at every rally into chants of “Lock ‘er up,” Trump chose to disappoint all of them by doing what every presidential winner seems to do as soon as he has secured victory: he chose not to prosecute anyone in the deep state.

In fact, he immediately put the deep state characters in charge of everything, just as I said before he was elected it appeared he would do. His supporters forgave him because they held on to hopes that he had deep plans for the deep state that would eventually accomplish his promise.

Trump, however, did not declassify any deep-state action of significance until this year. That indicates he only did it because he hoped the evidence would derail Joe Biden’s run for president. Trump waited too long for the release to do him any good, and that says to me there might not even be much meat on that bone, or why wait so long to release so little? That was Trump’s choice. Many pleaded with him to declassify for years. He chose to do nothing but talk. Where’s the beef?

Trump had years to get on top of this, and he utterly failed because he didn’t dog it every day and didn’t publicly release information that would have implicated Clinton and Comey and Brannen and Clapper and others. I chose to vote against him because I got so sick of the cheap talk from his big flapping gums. So sick of the constant lies about what he would do but never actually did.

FACT: Donald TheRump chose for four years to put Goldman Sachs in charge of all the financial departments of government, except for the one department he put Krackhead Kudlow, Heritage Foundation kingpin, in charge of. FACT: TheRump CHOSE to put the military deep brass in charge of everything having anything to do with intelligence. TheRump drained the entire swamp straight into the White House. Deep state all the way.

Seeing all of this, his supporters claimed (because they desperately wanted to believe — and I don’t blame them — they finally had a champion and to believe their votes were well placed) that Trumpo was playing 4-D chess! Some 4-D chess! Game over, and he clearly lost. Losing is not 4-D chess!

So, I’m more than glad to give the Great Pumpkin a boot in TheRump. Trojan Trump was an abject failure at his biggest promise. The deep state remains deeply entrenched, and TheRump exposed almost nothing but his own back side. He didn’t end any of the MIC’s military endeavors. He repeatedly made the MIC’s top brass his many chiefs of staff — the most powerful position in the White House beneath the president.

There was no 4-D chess here, people! There was two-dimensional stupidity! Trump either got played or never intended to do anything against the deep state that he said he would do in the first place. (My article from four years ago, said it would be the latter — that he’d never even try as evidenced by letting Hillary the crook off the hook and putting the deep state in charge of his entire government all four years.)

All we got against the deep state was a lot of Trumpeting and airing of conspiracy theories, but not a single step that yielded results that matter: No one went to prison. No one even went on trial, except Trump’s own team. There is talk â€“ always just talk — of putting Hillary on trial, but it is too late now! That’s because all it ever was, was talk … just like in 2016. Trump needed to bring out the Hillary chant again to energize his crowds with false hopes. Back in office for another four years, he’d go right back to doing nothing about her just like before!

QAnon and on and on and on

It is this abject failure to actually DO anything that could put deep-state people in prison (or even in court) that gave popularity to the QAnon conspiracy theory, as this video describes:

In essence, the theory gained popularity — as such theories typically do — because its 4-D chess explanation seemed to help Trump supporters understand why Trump did not appear to be doing anything to take down the deep state. QAnon provided a narrative that continually said it was all about to happen — that we were just in the calm before the storm, so be patient. Hell was about to break loose and take down the deep state. Very soon the grand chessmaister would play out his plan and we’d learn he was holding his enemies close in order to draw them all in and take them down together.

It never happened! Not even close!

I voted Trump out because kicking him out of office was the only thing that might make him mad enough to get off of his fat rump and actually start bringing the deep state down! No free walks based on some vainglorious hope that the only reason nothing was happening to actually take down any deep-state players was that Trump was playing a clever long game or because taking down the deep state was tough. I didn’t even see Trump appearing to try.

You want me to put you back in office? Then earn it! Accomplish something you said you would, Man who boasts of his accomplishments endlessly and tells us all how easy it will be! Get it in gear, or get out!!!

I chose to hold Trump’s feet to the fire by giving him only two more months to make it real. Maybe he’ll finally get hot enough to start releasing the information he claims he has about the Deep State, but so far all he’s done after losing the election is play golf and flap his big mouth. Not exactly the reassuring moves of someone who is now making his power play. I want to see if he really does have the evidence.

Frankly, I am nearly certain that he does not and never has, or he would have used it while he knew he could. If he was waiting for his second and more unrestrained term, as some will undoubtedly claim, bad call! You didn’t get one. Should have actually DONE something — accomplished something against the deep state — while you could. Instead, you put them all in power of everything under your government. So, no second chance! You blew it, Trump. You blew it!

Now that Trum’s acorns are roasting, maybe he’ll finally get hot enough to actually do something. I doubt it for the very reasons I doubted it in my article back in September, 2016. He’s got two months left to come out with genuine evidence against the deep-state players — to do as his son advocates and “declassify everything.” If all he does is continue his usual amplification of conspiracy theories, I won’t listen to a word of that crap. Either bring out the evidence by declassifying everything that is classified just to protect the deep state, and create the subpoenas against deep state players and file your allegations in court, or SHUT UP!!! Just shut up!

Even Republicans say there is no beef!

The same holds true for the election fraud Trump claims. While Trump is taunting his supporters with hopes anon of rallies to talk endlessly about all the cases of election fraud he is about to bring … someday … one Republican commented,

No one seriously thinks the [election] results will change…. He went golfing this weekend. It’s not like he’s plotting how to prevent Joe Biden from taking power on Jan. 20. He’s tweeting about filing some lawsuits, those lawsuits will fail, then he’ll tweet some more about how the election was stolen, and then he’ll leave.

The Washington Post

If there has been election fraud this year, everyone should lay the blame at Trump’s feet. Why? Because he made these same boisterous conspiracy claims over and over in 2016 before he was elected; then he did nothing about them after he was elected. Perhaps he didn’t want to risk changing the slim margins that put him in power. That or he didn’t even believe his own words.

Sure, he appointed a small commission to look into it, but they came back quickly with nothing. Then Trump said OK and let it go — never did a thing thereafter. Since he is the one person who could have torn into this and actually done something about it, he’s really lodging a complaint against his own do-nothing approach and his resulting lack of real accomplishment in this matter, which is one of the most serious problems a nation could have. TheRump sat on it for four fat years!

Trump had both the senate and the house on his side after he won, too; so, if there was ever a time to go after widespread voter fraud/election rigging, that was it. He had all the power of the federal government as his majority; but he decided to just let the issue drift, after making such a big stink about it prior to the election.

If Trump REALLY knew election rigging and voter fraud was a bad as his big flapping mouth kept saying, then DEEP SHAME on him for not dogging that issue every day of his four years to root out one of America’s most heinous problems (if it exists) because voter fraud destroys the very core of our democracy, undermining trust in everything government does after an election because it makes government, itself, illegitimate. It is no longer government “by the people.”

I think Trump knew he was making it all up back in 2016 — and it’s a heck of a destructive false accusation to make — just so he could use it as an excuse if he lost. He did it again this time. If it was real, his own lack of effort to imprison wrongdoers came back to bite him this year; so, who cares that he’s hurt by it? He ought to be as the price of sitting on it for four years. If he knew his claims were real and did nothing, he deserves to be thrown out. (Just like he did nothing of substance to imprison any deep-state characters over the last four years.)

The election results, however, won’t likely change even if Trump does find individual instances of fraud or error. If it’s there, I hope he can prove it. I want him to prove it. I’ve always wanted him to prove it. However, his cases are being thrown out of court left and right for lack of evidence, just as those in the video above said would happen. Even Fox News gets it. Though the rest of the mainstream media say Fox is going easy on the president, pay particular attention to the initial Fox clip:

Those who don’t get it are those who find it too hard to admit the truth about their failed hopes. They’re making excuses for failure — failure to accomplish anything against the deep state, except a lot of talk. Instead of doing anything about the Deep State, Trump surrounded himself with it and has now been swallowed up by it.

I don’t give people like Trump, who do not excuse the failures of others but fire them, excuses for their own failures or more time to continue them. The only reason I pinched my nose so tight I had to use a clamp and voted for Joe was it was the only way I had to fire Donald Trump for being a deep failure.

It is long past time to put up or shut up! Trump now has just two months to make his grand 4-D play and turn all of this around, but he has no play to make … just more talk. Always tick talk, tick talk, tick talk, playing out the clock. If he does make it, great! I’m glad I kicked him in his larded butt hard enough to get him to act.

Of course, it is never “show over” with Trump. He’s always got a sequel in store, so there is surely more drama ahead, but The White House Apprentice’s final season has come. I’m sure it will be a grand finale, but Trump is the one who assured its failure by making it all talk and no show.

So, Trump, you’re fired!

How's that swamp drainage project going?
